as we all know, satan is a DRAGON WITH MULTIPLE HEADS! wow! i forget how many. if one of you religious people can remember, let me know!
i just read noah's ark had to have had at least 35,000 individual animals on it -- INCLUDING DINOSAURS!!!!! hahahah and there were only 8 people on the boat feeding the animals for 371 days!!!!! lol if all this isn't ridiculous enough, the size of the ark was 45 feet tall, 75 feet wide, and 450 feet long. how the hell did he get 35,000+ animals, including dinosaurs on that? I WANT AN ANSWER.....NOW. lol
interestingly, communism in SU had many attributes of a religious cult: prophets (lenin, marx, engels), sacred literature (lenin's works), notional paradise (upcoming communist society -- the current one was called "socialist"), inquisition of non-believers (over 70 million killed, iirc). of course, the communist doctrine was completely delusional, and its disciples were quite a sight once their belief system collapsed... well, actually, they weren't: most of them explained that they were just "playing along", and never really believed in communism, a lot of them switched to another religion, and the remaining few just ignored the collapse. - jaan
The millions killed in the SU was my point about that country. While communism may have been "like a religion," the point is that it doesn't take invoking a God to create hate, genocide and oppression. Some here, on the other hand, suggested that religion has been the cause of all of these catastrophes, which isn't true.
i see you religous people can not answer my recent questions. that just goes to show you how weak the bible is.
Gordon, your questions are not worth taking the time to answer but becasue I have nothing else to do I will answer them anyway. Let see, first question... Where is heaven and where is hell? In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. Then God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters". Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day. Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:1-10 So you see Gordon, Heaven is not on the earth or in the sky but has been divided out from all that you are able to see from the beginning of time. Hell is then the opposite of Heaven, (as in God is in Heaven, but he is not in Hell). It also has been divided out from all you are able to see from the beginning of time. Question 2, How did Noah get all of the animals to come on the boat? Well Gordon, God has control over the all the earth including the animals. I am most sure that God made Noah's job as easy as possible. Question 3, How many heads does Satan have? Satan like God is spirit. Satan was in the beginning, a mighty angle of God. But when Satan tried to make himself higher than God, God cast him out of Heaven into a place he made called Hell. You must under stand that many times the bible uses what is know as symbolism. (Meaning that things are not always exactly as they are described.) Question 4, First, I feel that we need to point out that by time of Noah the dinosaurs were already extinct. If you have ever read the bible you would notice that it does not follow along in exact chronological order. The book of Job (half way through the old testament) is one of the oldest books from the bible. It is also the only book to speak of dinosaurs. By Noah's time the dinosaurs are already gone, just like today. Your number of 35,000 is also incorrect. Lets look back at the text.... Then God said, "You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female; also seven each of birds of the air, male and female Genesis 7:2-3 In Noah's day there would not have even been half of the different species of animals that exist today. Man has gone about breading his own species of animals by just using the same species that Noah saved on the boat. (For example my girlfriends dog, a Jack Russell Terrier, would not have been one of the species if animals on Noah's boat.) If you do not believe in God then why do you care what the bible says? If you do not believe in God then what does it matter to you that I do? If you do not believe in God then why do you think you will ever understand the things that God has proclaimed in his word? Oh well, if I had more time I would also answer your question about trading 1 or 5 shares with IB but I feel that would be a waste of my time. I am sure that someone as smart as yourself will be able to figure it out all on your own.
ANCHOR, first of all, thank you for taking the time to respond. of course, i am not going to buy your answers though. they may satisfy you, but not me. "Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light." how can any modern human being accept something like that?? when it comes to the dinosaurs, even some of your fellow religious people disagree. look at this link: (the answers this person gives are JOKES). http://www.angelfire.com/mi/dinosaurs/dino_ark.html also, i had 2 other questions which you may have missed. -who created jesus? if you say his mother, who created his mother? how ever far back you guys can go, i want to know how the first got there. -was jesus black or white?
i looked it up... "It is described in the book of Revelation as a red dragon with seven heads, seven crowns, and ten horns." sounds kinda fairytaleish to me..here he is!
