Why do we need to waste time debating what he said when we can, in all confidence, assume he never freakin existed!! Obviously if Christianity's main man - jesus - was a complete fabrication, as can, and has, easily been shown, then the whole foundation for the religion has been shot to pieces.. and the bible can take its rightful place in history next to alice in wonderland.<

Ever lived? Yet our calendar in based on the death of this ficticious character. Come on, Billions of people over the course of 2000 years--and you--daniel--figured it out. How great you are?

(take the concept of 'original sin' - BRILLIANT. these SOBs have got you by the balls before you've even learnt to utter two words..)<

What would you call the act committed by the terrorists on 9-11? Is this not a problem? If there's no sin, then they did absolutely nothing wrong. Once again, you are so self absorbed in your own sin that it has diverted your mind from the truth--JESUS.

  3. This is a fallacy. I do in fact believe that Jesus the man lived, although I personally don't believe that he was divine. If you do, there's nothing wrong with that. But if you want to convince others, referring to the populace (what "everyone" believes) is not proof. Hypothetically, the calendar could be created around someone who was invented by a few and became a myth. Again, I do in fact believe Jesus lived, but I am making the point to try to make you see where your arguments are coming up short.

  5. it's no longer a matter of 'believing' - we have damn near conclusive evidence that he never lived!! if you wanna close your eyes to factual matters, fine.

  6. The context of the discussion, upon whom the burden of proof is placed, has nothing to do with the facts of whether Jesus lived. If you'd read and/or understood the discussion, you wouldn't have jumped in and made comments out of your ass.

Now that you've informed us how strongly you believe that Jesus did not even exist, what is this "near conclusive evidence that he never lived"????
