  1. Gekko, I see through you. The evidence is there, you just don't want to see it. How can you argue a point without research. Go and do your DD on Jesus--thoroughly! Then come back a changed man.

  2. That is exactly our point. Would you confine your life to doing only what a judge in a courtroom tells you to do? Or just functioning within the rules?

I believe everyone here understands that you try limit your consciousness to what is absolutely necessary in order to vegetate. Some of us are just trying to get you to open your mind a little, but that might be wrong after all. If someone sits in a cave unwilling to turn around, why would you try to convince him that there is a world outside if he is happy the way he is? Why would you want to expose him to the potentially harmful sun? Just because you believe the sun feels good on your skin and the flowers outside are beautiful? You would never be able to prove that to the man in the cave, and it might not even be true.

    To each his own.

Also, Jesus said in John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Who are we to think in GG's case that means through us? God will find a way to reach GG, and it's probably not going to be a trading site full of irony and self-gratification.

  3. i want to be clear on something. there may have been a MAN named jesus christ. however, he was just a human being like we are. he is not some super being "god" type. so i'm not saying there isn't any evidence that a man name jesus christ once existed. what i'm saying is that is he not the creator of the universe. he is not the creator of all this:

    Again, where is the proof?

  6. Gekko, I clicked on your link. Imagine our God, Jesus, created every molecule there is. And I can say that with a large degree of certainty. :)

Once again, do your THOROUGH DD, and you shall see the light.

You remind me of doubting Thomas in the bible. I'm quite certain you will need to research that one.

  8. Wow, quite the rant by Darkhorse, full of empty
assertions, ad hominem attacks, and other fallacies.

    Darkhorse ad hominem attacks
    ------------------------------------------------------------

    "rationalist loser arguement"

" You guys who think you are so high and mighty in your logic? You basically suck."

"The references to 'terrorism' are shallow and small minded and silly and reveal more about the small mindedness of the criticizers than anything else."

    Fallacy: Prejudicial Language
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
" I am talking about competing views of reality. I am talking about logic and truth, not bombs and bullets. Anyone with common sense should be able to see that. "

    Darkhorse empty assertions
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The 'irrefutable arguments' presented on this thread are laughable. "

"You guys are making incorrect logic leaps and faulty assumptions all day and night here. And you are doing it to protect your own insecurity. Your mental weakness."

"...the arguments I've seen on this thread are about as consistent as swiss cheese..."

" They are broken records presenting the same tired points over and over again without ever going deeper. I have heard every one of them before and they are about as hard to punch through as wet tissue. "

Instead of boldy making these claims, why not attempt
    to support them?

    And the best quote:
"If there were a logic referee on this thread- simply weighing the quality of the debate and the quality of assumptions, without taking argumental sides- you guys would be whistled off the field about every thirty seconds"

I just blew the whistle on darkhorse 8 times in a single
post and there was plenty left over.

Tisk tisk... I expected more from a self proclaimed rational
person who uses logic and reason.

    peace
