  1. Refco FX

My cash is frozen. If they take my money to refund creditors ... it would be the dirtiest move ever.

  3. Write your congressmen and senators -- they do read the mail and if they are hearing a lot of need for regulation to prevent this type of thing -- it has a lot better chance of becoming reality.

  4. I'd encourage you to take the 5 minutes to send an email to your congreemen and senators -- it does help. If they hear from enough of us that we're angry and the law needs changing, perhaps they'll act.

    Go to http://www.letterstocongress.org

You can either send an email for free or have a letter mailed (this costs 5-6 bucks for 2 day delivery).

  5. You mean take you cash to repay predicators who are all ready being compensated for their investment with interest. You see how Greenspan runs things. Always looking out for the wealthy at the demise of the average Joe. Thats his track record for the past 18 years with social security and tax cuts for the wealthy. Steal from the poor and give to the rich.

I was just about to switch over to RefcoFX before this went down and feel bad for people. Hold out hope because FXCM may come through for you and others in the end.

I don't understand how a company can use client capital as collateral to pay back loans it obtained to operate its business when the $ does not belong to them. This scam hasn't made it past the judge yet anyway, so hopefully the judge will do what is right.

  9. Why would someone want to pay a premium for a debt.

I wonder if FXCM would buy the right to pay back my mortgage company????:D :D :D :D

  10. FXCM would rid themselves of Refco as a shareholder and simultaneously get a book of business from RefcoFX. This would be a good deal for them and I don't see where there's any debt. They don't want all of RefcoFX, just to bail out the customers, which presumably will have their funds in tact (one can hope :) .
