Has anyone ever had major account errors in their retail account? like trades you haven't done print into your account? Is anyone concerned about it and is there much recourse if that happens? just seems very possible given the huge volumes of trades we do and that there's no paper trail or voice confirmation, everything electronic. for that matter, what if someone hacks your Schwab account number and trades like crazy there?
there is a paper trail for any electronic order. you still need to keep track of what you are doing so you will know if there is a problem.
