Those guys on Youtube making big money from small accounts are fakes, they are probably trying to sell something. If not everyone would be doing it and we all would be millionaires.

Open a small account and trade micro's, you will find out soon enough, if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't true.

These comments have nothing to do with not wanting to motivate you, you are just being unrealistic.

Maybe I am just being naive, but I spent quite some time checking this out. Are you telling me this guy's program is totally fake? He runs a live class daily in a live trade class room with all his followers basically following a long with him to learn his strategies. I guess all the students are fake then.

    You're welcome.

    Actually Proprietary firms wise,
It's really tough to get into valuable ones.
You need lots of experience, contacts and backgrounds.

I've tried a "Prop" firm for the average Joe and it just doesn't make sense.
They will provide you ZERO capital even though it looks like they hand you thousands.
They have stupid rules and if you break them they will throw you into the trash like shit.
This, even if you're a profitable and consistent trader. Because they don't care about it really.
Their business model is to cash money from trials, combines, exams and the like.
They don't care about you personally and your potential. Seriously.

So instead of wasting your time and money trading fake capital to prove yourself.
Just open a small account and trade your own money, keep the commissions for yourself.
With all the fractional shares and micro contracts available, you're able to build up.
We don't need large sum of money to trade with ease risk wise.
But you got to be patient and build up over time.

However if you're good and lucky then you can easily double your investment in 1 month.

This is what I've done since Feb 10th.
Tried a prop firm and this is my returns.
    Start is 4500 (1).

    Not saying I am good.
But it can be achieved with skills and luck.

Broke a stupid rules and they threw me out.
So I am going to open a 5k account and trade micro contracts.

If I had done this on Feb 10th I'd be up more than 4x my initial investment.

Why would a trader, who can make millions a year from trading (if they would be as successful as they claim to be), sell courses for $99/month?

Its called residual income. Turning yourself into a destination with no overhead. Idk seems smart to me.

Do you have any idea how much time it takes to create and edit those video's, create courses, ... on top of being a fulltime successful trader, he must be doing +100 hours a week, all that for a little extra income on top of a few million? If you really are that easily convinced then yes, you are very naive.

Go ahead, ignore all the scepticism, as most beginners do and waste your money so you can experience it yourself :D.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but unfortunately it is the truth. Again, if it really could be that easy we all would be millionaires.

Actually yes I do. As stated I have built, coordinated, and managed integration platforms, and I have created instructional webinar videos, then used Adobe Premiere to author my videos. I have created documentation manuals to support those videos so yes I do know what it takes and to be frank, if you think that is a lot of work, maybe that is also why you feel like getting into trading is such a struggle. Maybe trading turns people sour IDK but thats been the sentiment of most I have come across. The thing about videos and courses is you only need to do the work one time and its there forever. As for the continual update videos, it doesnt take more than an hour to record, edit and upload your content.

  8. And where did you ever flip a house with a 1k investment? If only freedom was that free. You truly have no idea what you’re up against, and have a substantial time and money sacrifice ahead of you, before you even get close to any rite of passage in the business of trading. Not trying to discourage, just telling how it is.

Hang around here long enough and you will learn that there are many ways to fake the outcome.

Those "a**holes" on ET who exposed frauds are doing us amateur traders a great service, they are the real hero.

We all have dreams, it is what drives society and us humankind. So, don't give up if it is your dream and passion. However there is no shortcut, you need hard work, a passion for it, and luck. The sad part is you wasted 20 years, if you had perseverance and continued to educate yourself and invested/traded all these 20 years to hone your skill, you could have been the pro on ET we are all looking up to.

It is not too late, first of all, educate yourself, read and study, don't fall for those get rich quick "educational services". You are a well educated guy, buy and read some books on trading, but best go to Coursera and sign up for a few free online classes.

Keep your day job, live below your means, save and invest, keep learning and one day in the not too distant future, you can quit your day job and trade full time, with way more than $1K tradable capital. Then your chance of success will be way higher than 1%. It is what this amateur trader did back in 2010.

Not saying this is the way to go but it is a lower risk way to go.

    Welcome and good luck.

I don't feel like getting into trading is such a struggle, i know it is. I have been in it for years and it took a long time to get consistently profitable. Just like everybody else has been struggling when they started out, buying a course isn't going to fix that.

Again, as i have said, feel free to waste your money.

Looking forward to your post next year to show us how much you have made.

So yes, if you don't want to take in advice that isn't what you where expecting, it might seem ''sour'' and in the end you will be just another one who wasted their money, just like the thousands and thousands before you.
