Hello. I'm interested in everyone's recommendation for a good news feed. I currently use thefly.com and it has been great except for the fact that it occasionally misses some news, or the news itself is delayed compared to the time the original story is actually released.

I would want a newsfeed that covers microcap and small cap stocks pretty extensively. Basically a newsfeed that posts every news story for every microcap/small cap stock immediately upon the news being available.

A feed that allows input of tickers into an alerts list for email/text notifications is also desirable. It'd be preferable to also specify the types of alerts for each ticker in my alerts list as well (e.g. earnings, general PR, options related, etc.).

I know I may be reaching on all of these, but I'm really hoping there is a well known site that does all of this.

Does a well known and reliable feed like this actually exist???

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

I stopped trying to get the ultimate, best mother - of - all news feeds years ago.
Because getting such news feeds is detrimental to trading.
'Best' news wouldn't help to improve odd of success.

Market has its own mind. It moves when it wants to move.
It moves when it feels like moving.
Its movement could be out of nowhere.

Look at yesterday gold and oil price. It moved tremendously. And there was no prewarning.

If you are looking at news to get an edge in trading, in my opinion you are wasting your time.

I follow very little news, I read headlines after a heavy trading day to see what BS they are printing after the fact of the market move. It's more for entertainment then trying to draw conclusions that rarely add up.

I shorted Crude Last Sunday Night about an hour after the market opened at 72.50. That spike was from this BS Saudi Story that is floating around about the reporter (no offense to him). That story as it relates to crude oil was the perfect manipulation for me to enter. Of course I was already in my position and then hours later I read the story... and said Oh, that is what caused that artificial spike that I faded and made a bunch of money from.

My point is not to fade news... but to not read it at all as it relates to entering/exiting...of course in my opinion.

I think Porn has higher correlation with markets then news feeds, in all seriousness. The Market is always F*cking someone...figure out who that is and pile on. :)

(don't mean to offend anyone, but it is honestly reality)
