I was responding to a complaint. All posts that were offtopic were deleted. ES P.S. How are you doing with your job search?
Not well. Haha. I think I've applied every place I could in NYC and haven't heard back yet, but I'll keep looking. I may have to apply to firms in Chicago and London. Though I'm not sure any of the London firms take US citizens.
Well this thread is only 3 weeks old...keep us updated as to your experience with this Job search. Be persistent...do not give up...find your destiny. Good Luck to you. ES
Rodney King, Thanks...but I will still get blasted... Will you folks please tell me earlier when something like this happens?...When I have to come to a thread 3 weeks later and delete many users posts...that is offending even if they were posting offtopic. I do not like it when one of my posts get deleted...do you? Anyways I cannot read the content of every thread in here...I try to read every post and I get most of them...but I am mainly looking for spam...so you guys must help me...especially the senior guests here... This took me one hour this AM to fix this thread...If I missed anything hit the complain button and an email will be automatically sent to all of the moderators. ES
A long time ago I have traded at the now defunct ETG (Schonfeld bought them...) I would go to/try Schonfeld if they have you.... Bright might be my second choice. My 2 cents
Reasonable enough, but many threads suffer hiJACKing and since they never get cleaned up, I've assumed it's because he has some sort of special relationship with site management -- in fact he claims to be a paid contributor to the site, and the mods have never denied/refuted that claim, as far as I've seen.
well...That remains to be seen...however I could not imagine that "site management" would condone a "special relationship" contributing offtopic. ES
I feel for you @OP I'm still an undergrad right now so I'm not looking for any full-time things Perhaps start by being a news junkie. It isn't just FX that's driven by news, don't be afraid to go to non-trad websites other than Bloomberg/Reuters Good luck
