Man IB is so effing bad they are showing me as if I bought the QQQ at 3.22 per share and i have called them multiple times to try to fix it because thats goign to be a huge tax loss.... I did a position transfer from BMO and i use that position to trade but now its like WTF am I supposed to do when you show me as buying QQQ from 3.22 per sharem they have told me they would fix it and no one seems to be able to do it.
If you had bought it at 3.22 you now would be a freaking billionaire. Also if we look at historical prices it has never been at 3.22.
Right? I said exacly that to them, I was like how the fuck could I have bought it at 3.22 did i have an account in like the 1940's lol
The thing that is the most frustrating is that I am a net seller on the QQQ's and this fucking position cuses me to try shorting the futures or buying puts cause its the only way to hedge it, IB has no urgency to fix the situation.
It looks like they have screwed it so much that they allow the user to modify the value? https://www.ibkrguides.com/kb/the-average-price-shown-for-one-of-my-positions-is-incorrect.htm "Enter the desired average price into the dialog box"? So you can add the price you want it to be?
Man I have literally had them on the phone explained it, and walked them through the position they tell me if i just click a couple buttons it will work and it still ends up like that. There is no fixing it lol i have given up on it a long time ago.
Funds still way under weight in oil, they are just starting to buy now if we get through 80 bucks a barrel this year these things could really pop. Funds were also obviously bigger sellers so far in January, obviously as per chart three. Credit to @wallstjesus for posting these on twitter.
