    SEC fee $0.0000153 * share * price (or 0.0000153 x aggregate price of sell order)
    Activity fee $0.0000307 * share * price (or 0.0000307 x aggregate price of sell order)
    +ECN costs/rebates

    That is an extremely low price. The split?

    They clearly are not making the money on the commissions.

    Ho takes around 30% from the office...

    the remaining 70 gets split different from country to country... china 10% to trader, Canada 35% to trader...

    Well, if they are doing that, and taking profits, then I would assume they can be called "traders". Or is there any other defenition diferent from someone "who buys and sells securities in order to achieve a profit"?

  7. Credits were a lot of fun before NMS… nowadays too much volume is internalized… could be a fun game again if a trade-at-best-price rule or something similar comes around and gives priority to displayed liquidity…
