bats is the nicest payout @ .0025 edgx .0022 thats pretty much where i hang out there are inverse routes that pay for removing liquidity as well they are .000's for the most part. i believe to fully benefit from this type of trading it is key to utilize different routes as a move in the wrong direction will quickly eat multiple up moves. ive been tryin to get my hoteys within the software set properly in order to fully take advantage of all routes because speed is really important. also i find sending orders early as possible to be key so you are more likey to get a fill... it sucks when you are right for the move but too far in the que to get a fill thats when those inverse routes come in handy send a mkt to them and they at least save you a lil coin so you can move on to the next! if you want i have a full listing of ecns and rates. any one with insight please post some stuff as i will continue as my strategy evolves

I rebate trade all the time, I provide liquidity most of the time, the key to take advantage of the rebates is trading through a firm that offers very low commissions and lowers it even more depending on your volume, I have a good deal. My rebates more than cover my commissions everyday, I trade intraday using the same technical patterns I use on every stock, but with low commissions and rebates I now trade stocks with the highest volume and smaller moves. You can make good money trading this way with very low risk, but there is a limit on how much you can handle manually, thats why the computer programs are very succesful.
