More than 610 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through August 31, 2022.

During this time, VAERS received 16,257 preliminary reports of death (0.0027%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. CDC and FDA clinicians review reports of death to VAERS including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records.
    • The important number from above is 0.0027% of all the vaccinations in the United States have resulted in a fatality (death).
In comparison to the Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) here in the United States is around 1.1% for individuals that are not vaccinated then infected with Covid that resulted in death although I don't know the range (high and low...from county to county).

Globally, the Infection Fatality Rate is around 3.4%. In comparison, the FLU Infection Fatality Rate is around 1%.
    • What exactly is the Infection Fatality Rate for a Covid Infection?
Your chance of dying (fatal outcome) if you become infected with Covid and the numbers differ for each age group. Regardless, 1.1% for the overall IFR is very bad in comparison to 0.0027% for people dying from a Covid vaccine in a Pandemic.

    The actual definition...

The proportion of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 who die from COVID-19. If the number of infections is known, this measure may be approximated by dividing the number of deaths by the number of infections. Because many infections go undetected, the infection fatality ratio is lower than the case fatality ratio.

Further, as traders, we should understand risk management and should know our own risk factors. The Covid vaccine is clearly the better odds of survival during a Pandemic. Unfortunately, too many people in the United States weren't concerned about their risk factors which is the main reason why the U.S. is ranked in the top 5 for the worst performance against Covid when infected.

Yet, thanks to vaccination, the U.S. has one of the best performances (medical health) if infected with Covid as a breakthrough infection...stats and graphs posted in another thread.

On a side note, most people have received vaccinations for other diseases (e.g. Polio, smallpox, Flu, et cetera). I believe the Infection Fatality Rate for the Flu Vaccine has a range within the United States of 0.1 - 1.2 although the overall stats I've seen is 1%.

I've posted lots of data before but the deaths from a Covid vaccine have been getting better (fewer deaths) in comparison to the deaths of those infected with Covid while not vaccinated.

As a reminder, due to complete physical and blood chemistry tests...I myself was not suitable for a Covid vaccination with Pfizer or J&J vaccines...I had allergies to a few of the ingredients in those vaccines. In addition, I have a medical history of Myocarditis (twice) in my youth.
    • Thus, had I taken the Pfizer or J&J vaccines, I may have had a fatal allergic reaction.
In contrast, I am fully vaccinated & boosted with Moderna...no problems but only because my Doctor and I reviewed my medical history, did the appropriate blood chemistry tests along with testing me for Covid prior to my Doctor giving me the Moderna vaccination...we did this routine for each of my Moderna shots.

That's my beef with the vaccination process. Not enough warnings or alerts that individuals should have complete physicals that include blood chemistry tests along with a Covid test to ensure they're suitable for a Covid vaccination...before the jab and again about 30 days after the jab.

In addition, I'm a little shocked that vaccination locations didn't Covid test people prior to giving them the Covid vaccine. Thus, there have been some people with adverse reactions to the vaccines because they were vaccinated when they were infected with Covid...a few of those individuals did in fact die within a few days after their vaccination shot.

Regardless to all the facts and misinformation/disinformation about the Covid Pandemic and Vaccines...North America has great numbers now against Covid thanks to vaccination and the Omicron. :sneaky:

I'm also proud of the fact that the military has the lowest adverse reactions to the Covid vaccines while having one of the highest occupation vaccination rates in the United States, Canada and France. :)

New polio strain found in NY….
VERY LIKELY caused by vaccine induced infection.

    NO THANKS.

It was a very simple question.

"If you knew you were bitten by a rabid animal like a raccoon or fox, would you get the rabies vaccine, or would you let your natural immunity work it out?"

That's it, that is all there was in my query.
