If you are seeking some greater meaning why anyone posts here, I suggest you look at your own posting history first and try to see some value behind anything you wrote. Perhaps ask yourself the question first, the word troll seems better placed on your account.
So you have time to read everyone's posting history? I guess the Canadian welfare system is treating you well. Now go take your meds...
I have never traded RIM stock. I did make several near term options trades in 2009 and 2010, which were net positive. Every call I made was naturally short term in nature. For example, on Sep. 18 2010 RIMM was at $46.72. I posted on this site that it "would not surprise me if RIMM went up $10 a share in a month". What actually occurred is it trended up and hit that profit target on Oct. 29, 2010. I noted the 20%+ gain for anyone taking that trade on this site. I saw these posts in my history today. There was another successful long call at some point but I haven't located it ( I said go long RIM, INTC, and some other tech company on a short term basis, in some guys journal who was shorting INTC ). I fail to see where I rode RIM down to $10. I made one wrong guess on earnings but stated clearly I wouldn't take the trade ( its in the post ). Of course, this was the source of a ton of bs on here, embellishment of what I said, outright deceit etc etc. I don't pretend that all my calls are right. And again, my interest was short term moves only. RIM was nowhere near $10 after I had abandoned it in every fashion. Believe what you want. Just be careful what you lie about, it looks bad on you.
Just as I expected, you are PURE TROLL, and there is nothing genuine about your purpose here. In fact, the posting history also suggests you've been lurking on here far longer then I have, as I left this site entirely for long periods of time. This site can never succeed when posters such as yourself dominate the proceedings, at various points in the past I actively posted some strong trading ideas and reflection, something you seem unable to devote to. Sure, I gave up on that approach eventually, because I realized too many of you just want to wallow in mud fights and try to "win the internet". Wouldn't it be better to win the markets due to shared knowledge ? Oh I know, that concept probably went way over your head, you think your role is to poo poo anyone's ideas, ask for details you never provide yourself, and expect market drops at all times even when no catalyst exists. Nothing really unique there from you, this place is a magnet for your kind. At least you're not openly bigoted or politically eccentric like some of the other guys. There's still hope for you if you get over yourself.
The same pride is why I have been staunchly bullish on Canadian banks from 2009-2013. But once they blew through all time highs easily, I am no longer interested in them as value plays. They were great moderate risk plays for investors during that run.
Here's where you were telling us we were betting on $10/share for BBRY... http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index.php?threads/rimm-33-or-53.220981/page-5#post-3302346 How did this work out for you with the NDX nearly doubling? You had an $80 target on BBRY and it did indeed slice through $10. rofl. http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index.php?threads/thoughts-on-research-in-motion-rimm.222242/ $80/share call http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index.php?threads/rimm.206869/#post-2957713
Dude, stop the drama queen routine. As an entrepreneur and trader, this is the last place I'd go for serious discussions. There were some half-interesting conversations here 8 or 10 years ago. Even then, you had fakers/pikers like dbphoenix posing as traders and even mentors. You never know whose really behind the keyboard. If you really have confidence in your trades, start a journal. Nebulous calls from years ago ("I was a bull in 2009!") make you look like a joke.
