Hey all! First off, thank you all for the excellent advice in my previous (first) post. I haven't made a live trade in a few weeks lately, just been working on my practice account and testing some strategies. I've finally found a combination that I'm having a little bit of luck with and wanted to do some backtesting with it and maybe work towards automating it on my practice account and testing the results. However, I am quickly finding out that any trading software that allows backtesting is going to be very very expensive. Is there any sort of good, reasonably priced trading software out there? All I want to be able to do is maybe automate some trades, enter custom commands like "if MACD and bollinger top are greater than x then do y" and hopefully do some backtesting.
