Reasonable expectations for Trading

Discussion in 'Trading' started by John9999, Feb 27, 2018.

  1. So where is the prove in the pudding. If I am making 50k annually as A Forex Trader sounds a little small don`t you think. Than why are you here telling us about it and urging the point endlessly - would you not be off on Holiday enjoying the sunny climate some where nice - or is that still dreams away like the expensive porche I`m planning to get once I made the money. Grow up little boy if not mentally. As well trying putting your point to rest it is only on discussion basis and here you are ranting on as if your life depended upon only your side of the debate. Debate is are quest - And to the Human Mind of Understanding.

    I wrote 2 postings before this one:
    "I don't give any information about my personal performance.
    You can suppose, dream or wish whatever you like.
    I don't care as that will never have any influence on my performance."

    Privacy is important for me. And I also don't want to start a discussion with bashers or have a pissing contest. Because one thing is clear: these people don't believe me as they are losers or at least not able to live from trading. If not they would not react the way they react.

  5. Consisting of how many years you have never traded in your life Bud if you are fool enough to say that you have never lost a trade - Than you are dimmer that I thought. Losing trades are part process of learning the business.

  6. Turn your computer on. Once you do that, chances of having a losing trade goes up considerably.

    :cool:

    For a beginner i guess even 10% is a realistic return on an investment

  10. The keywords in your statement of "beginner" and "realistic" sounds like a conundrum;
    The term 'beginner' in trading...usually equates to 0% returns, or easily busts :banghead:, o_O

    This game is incredibly tough, in a combination of variable, dynamic ways.
    So many potential pitfalls along the mysterious path to the cave of Open Sesame,

    I feel like a new, reborn man...ever since I've quit coffee, and have taken up hot tea,
    I have this zen, wise calm...like a Yoda Jedi trader,
