I asked Dave from TN-MB about typical configurations for RT hotkeys and he says liability issues prevent him from giving advice on that subject. I am wondering if anyone would share their experiences with the various settings. Action Types, Price Adjustment, Best or Up or Down; it is quite confusing! My thanks in advance to anyone that can shed some light on this topic. BTW, Dave suggested I just try different settings and see what results I get! What the F***! I have been happy with MB trading until I received that response. I may start to shop around after I solve some of the basic operational problems. --arky
arky- I guess it really depends on what you want to do... I used them for a bit , but haven't recently I had something like cntrl-b bid +.02 500 shares ctrl o = offer ctrl c =cancel and so forth...you can really do anything you want with them...but I'd suggest keeping on the confirmation option until you get the hang of them...in other words, when you hit the key, a confirm screen comes up first, then you can either click yes, or just hit the space bar to send it. Good luck. uptik2000
I use them only for bumping price up or down on ARCA after I have entered an order. Otherwise my style does not demand hot keys.
