Hi, this is important information need from those who are using realtick software this morning. 3/26/03. How many of you are unable to receive Level 2 quotes. Thanks in advance, I'm conducting a survey on recent problems in order to help out via a realtick contact I have and make some long lasting changes to server reliability. Thanks again.
I don't believe a word the Real Tick people say. Level two was out on $level2$ and sporadic on $Quotes$. Anyone who believes what real tick tells them regarding reasons for problems with the software and servers and proposed improvements has their head in the sand.

There is not any need to be paying for "Level 2" with RealTick. It stops working several times a day. What makes it so bad is that by the time you figure out it is not updating, you have failed to do what ever you needed to do with the trade. It would be better to not watch the "Level 2" window. One of the platforms I work with has a very RealTick like look and feel and a full API. The data is good as well.
In the past 10 years as a day trader I've used so many different technical analysis systems... And with very few exceptions at some point they always disappoint me. I used realtick a while back and thought they were ok..but many of the issues I had with them were local and not their fault..But then again It did seem that they always killed on those high volume days!
