Is there such a thing? It would seem to me that scanning 4000 stocks for patterns or conditions (i.e. 200 MA touched) would require a lot of computational power. Could a retail desktop handle this and if so what software is available to perform this task?
Tradestation is programable to scan for such conditions. You will have to learn to program to their charting program.
