  2. After switching a while ago, I checked up on 'em again. They've been coasting on this feed for 8 years now. Clunky permissioning mechanism, stale quotes, and morning Level II lockups... Global refresh at 9:20 am... Same old shit.

  4. AAA:

I switched to TradeStation. The equities platform has been rock solid lately after some initial network difficulties last year. They clear through Bear - that's been great, too, for borrows.

  6. I formally used Real Tick and I honestly cannot see any difference between the quality of their feed compared to e-sig. They are both tier 3 providers with their own ticker plans....why pay more for real tick?

What is the identifying advantage or Feature that Real Tick has over e-signal that would warrant the increased cost?

There's been a lot of discussion on the boards about some of the server problems that have plagued RT this year. Can you address these issues here so we can refer people to your "official" comments.

Does that answer your question Baron?

    Yes.

"Power outages" and "failure of external systems" ? Glad we got that cleared up.

  8. Exactly what I said when I read the chat log.

Suffice it to say ... Realtick is not serious about addressing customer needs.

It's obvious to me that there are no "real traders" in positions of importance at that company.
