I don't know a thing about what is involved in putting a presentation together. I think you get subscribers with a long video or at least an interesting video then do shorts. What is the matter with your voice. Easier to gain trust when you are genuine.
I get your drift. My voice sounds really off on mic for some reason. In real life its a bit dull but nowhere as bad. I have never figured it out but it has to do with this and I got the short end of the stick. When you hear your voice on a recording, you're only hearing sounds transmitted via air conduction. Since you're missing the part of the sound that comes from bone conduction within the head, your voice sounds different to you on a recording.
Long before the digitization of a mic's output, and even now with all the stuff we have to process a signal... there is still a whole mystique about that. There are people that for whatever the reason is.... they have voices that when ran through a microphone... just work. We used to call it FM. "F'ing Magic"
Have you asked other people? Your recorded voice sounds off to you because you hear from your perspective. Could be it's really good and you just hear it different.
Nah, it's not that. I made a new video & deleted the old one after your suggestion. This voice sounds less monotone. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WAnCn5fxWZw
Not sure if Pro-Tools has a decent free version, but download Garageband.... (free)... and click on filters.... play around there for a bit if you're bored. There's a bunch of things you can do to enhance the playback of whatever. Voice track is one.
I think Audacity is free and open sourced too. It might even be better for what you're trying to do. https://www.audacityteam.org/ Edit: I just looked at it... it's pretty good. There might be a slight learning curve. No biggie though. An hour or two and your vids will sound like Richard Burton was doing the narration.
