so far in San Diego rents are going up. People are forced out and need a place to live. I suspect rents will not go down until the banks put all their inventory on the market.
The real estate and casino moguls down there will get fantastically rich, there will be politicians to help them and then......full circle.
the question is will it be by choice because the CA gov't will end the give aways which are bankrupting it, or will it be by force because eventually politicians will blame all our ills on them.

I live on south beach and everyday its stil PACKED HERE (kinda annoying) but you definatly hear a lot of italian, german, french...more so than anyother year i've been here (almost 7 years)
