Recipe for disaster right there. No matter what school of thought you come from, if you're making less money but spending more, you're headed straight into a hole.
Every financial problem I've had was solved by increasing income. Of course personal finance is different than government finance and I have my own business so I hustled my ass off to take up the slack. Too bad government can't bust their ass off to help with the finance problem.
