Reading Sellside Research

Discussion in 'Professional Trading' started by EliteTraderNYC, Mar 13, 2009.

  1. Does anyone know how to get access to Wall Street's sellside research from various investment banks, such as Goldman, Morgan Stanley and Deustche Bank at a reasonable price?

I was quoted a price of $12,000 a year but that is astronomical, and its only for buyside institutions.

    Thanks,

  2. Don't bother. I summered at one of the mentioned firms for equity research. And communicated with some other analyst from competing banks.

My conclusion after 3months is ..Everyone is trying to bullshit one another. Everyone is pretty much clueless. Very rare to find someone who know what he's talking about.

The only value you can get is their financial models and input your own assumptions to calculate what they call the 'fair value' of the firm.
