  1. I am looking for some good reading materials for long term investing, how to choose stocks, what criteria are important etc. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for your your replies.

  2. For long term investing, you can check out William O'Neil's book:

How to Make Money in Stocks: A Winning System in Good Times and Bad, Fourth Edition

    http://www.amazon.com/How-Make-Mone...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1266545883&sr=8-1

He will tell you his CAN-SLIM method. O'Neil is the founder of Investor Business Daily.

    But I personally CANT-STAND it because I am a short-term trader. :p

  3. In light of the current financial quagmire, what we need to know for long term investing is out the window.

    Who doesn't have derivative exposure?

Imo, hook up with the religion of your choice, maybe buy an annuity and pretty much you can be assured the church will be around the next 100 years.

  4. Thanks for the response. I've checked out the book and it has good reviews. I will see if I can get one in the bookstore. If not, I'll end up buying online again.

  5. Getting ready for the financial transaction tax are we? :D
