Reading "Dynamic Trading" by Taleb...am i supposed to understand any of it?

Yeah, I can't name anyone who's read the CRR book. I won't allow any of my kids trade without first reading Hull, twice.

 

You have them go straight to Hull? They have basics before this I assume.

 

And do all the math problems. That was my first assignment on the derivatives desk.

 

No, that’s why they have to read it twice.

 

Props to them, that's kinda heavy stuff to dive into. You and a few other guys on here worth listening to recommend that book the most from what I've seen.

 

I've seen this emphasized before as well.

 

I hate sayin this, but this was back in '90. No one knew from Hull.

 

... one better...Read CRR, and never read Hull
