RE: Question for Techno Savvy

  1. I dont know if anyone has experienced a glitch of sorts when running the BIOS on a barebones machine before loading the OS, but so far, this back-up computer is a pain in the arse...

Here is what I get after the PCI device listing, it appears to have something to do with the PXE searching for a network...

    Intel(R) Boot Agent Version 3.0.03
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
    PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
    Invalid partition table_

I had noticed that on a message board another person had experienced this same glitch and it seemed to have something to do with the BIOS seek function when the machine was turned on...I tried this to no avail, but then again I am not the most techno savvy person around...

    Any opinions appreciated...

  2. Nevermind...I found the explanation on the Intel site...
