If you compare the number of children's deaths in Florida from Covid on a per capita to any state that had a proper public health policy -- the number in Florida is very bad. Tell us tell us how children's Covid deaths in Florida compare to North Carolina on a per capita basis. Florida is pretty much a horror show. Your nonsense about with Covid and from Covid is bullcrap and has been addressed with multiple fact checks in the past. The information we doubt from Florida is the state's information -- which is non-existent for hospitalizations, variant numbers and many other common information items. We will trust the CDC information for Florida as much as possible because they gather it from multiple sources -- but still it has a significant delay for items such as deaths due to Florida trying to under-report the data in order to make the DeSantis administration look "good" in the most recent weeks.
Ah, "proper public health policy" is the rub here. Essentially giving you the ability to choose which states to compare to make the narrative work for you. Kindly fuck off, NPC. No one is buying it. The data is right there. How is it that 28 states have less than 10 pediatric deaths from COVID? I mean, if COVID is so bad for kids. You still haven't answered.
Once again I already answered about your 28 states. As noted in the CDC data page in the column on the far right — any value less than 10 is not provided due to privacy issues. States with low populations tend to have a small number of childhood deaths from any disease.
That wasn't my question. My question was, if Covid is so bad, how is it 28 states have less than 10 deaths in two years? 28 states have "low populations"? Really? That's your answer?
First I had to explain to you that no entry on deaths does not mean that the state has no Covid deaths among children because your chart reading is poor. This is after you posted a fake table claiming Florida only had 13 Covid deaths among those aged 0 to 17. Now you are unable to understand the correlation between Covid deaths and population. Why don’t you explain the Covid deaths for children in Florida per capita are so much worse than states that had mask & other restrictions applied aligned with CDC recommendations.
Actually, you're avoiding the question yet again. We know why this is, because it exposes your narrative for the bullshit it is. As for your question (I don't hide from tough questions), as I said, there could be so many reasons as to why this is. If Florida has a better than average death per capita for all people, but children (who are more safe than adults) has a higher per capita, then there is probably another factor. But you can make a guess, or I can make a guess as to why (reporting differences, etc) but it is only a guess. Now answer my question, NPC.
Once again you avoid answering the question in a reasonable manner.. Let's see if you can apply rational thought. Note that red states with limited restrictions are the closest to Florida in children Covid deaths per capita. Mull it over. What is the common factor. Why don’t you explain the Covid deaths for children in Florida per capita are so much worse than states that had mask & other restrictions applied aligned with CDC recommendations.
Doesn't like the answer, so accuses someone of not answering in a "reasonable manner". Got news for you, NPC - you're not reasonable to normal folks. My answer: As for your question (I don't hide from tough questions), as I said, there could be so many reasons as to why this is. If Florida has a better than average death per capita for all people, but children (who are more safe than adults) has a higher per capita, then there is probably another factor. But you can make a guess, or I can make a guess as to why (reporting differences, etc) but it is only a guess. A little more color: to assume you can answer such a question assumes you have all of the necessary data to draw a conclusion. Neither one of us does. And you avoided answering my question yet again. Because you can't.
