Doesn't explain the volume. You really think it trades 3x the float ? That's an awful lot of back and forth
I wouldn't go as far as to say "nothing to do with it". Find me an example of a stock that doubled in one day on 10% of the float. This I gotta see.
lol, I'm sure there are many cases. The price is not dependent on the volume. You don't know this? Perfect example. Stocks RIP after hours, on trivial volume relative to float, because of news that alters the perception of value. Same for downside. Instant 50% haircuts on near NO volume. So I stand in awe of my initial claim that volume has nothing to do with it (ok, almost nothing)
