  1. I am proud to say I have not once turned CNBC on this week. Did you guys know that there's an entire network devoted to sports? :p

I was wondering just yesterday how long he was going to be on air after ranting about Goldman. The powerful won't let there image be tainted.

  4. I guess he got tired of banging (allegedly) Buttiromo in the afternoons...

"I think that if you have a camera crew around the NYSE between 5 and 8 pm eastern...it might produce a match of Maria Bartiromo and Dylan Ratigan. They have three hours before Dylan returns to ait a Times Square. I heard they have been becoming very close."

Finally, this morning, we received perhaps the most disturbing email of all: "Rumor has it Bartiromo and Ratigan have time between his break from Closing Bell at 4 eastern til his 8 pm show and Bartiromos 5pm off air and her limo home. They have I understand, been both working out of the NYSE instead of Ratigan at NYSE and Bartiromo at Englewood Cliffs, N.J. makes it easier to grab one hour or two together. ....eh? Bring a long range lens. Interested withhold my name or email...please."

  5. Rattigan has a point, I think.

First, one must remember, that CNBC is the network the bills itself as "In Cramer We Trust".

Rattigan senses he is not getting equal treatment to Cramer and Kudlow.

CNBC is a sexist network in that it lets allows loud mouths know-it-all pompous asses like Cramer and Kudlow to have an hour when then get to say what ever they want and in the case of Kudlow, he gets to invite guests on so he get to talk all over them with his incessant drivel while they are expected to appear in a box and smile and nod.

I think Rattigan is asking the question, " If you give pompous asses like Kudlow and Kramer an hour to unload on the audience with their egomaniacal rants, why not give an equally pompous ass like myself the same shot?"

DITTO! He's got a counterpart on CNBC Eurpope, too.... Martin Baccardax. Too bad we can't lock both of them in a room and see how long it takes for one to out-annoy the other to the point of scratching their eyes out!

Annoying as Crammer and Crudlow are, Ratigan is waaayyyy worse. We need less of him, not more.

Kudlow is annoying, especially when he is cheerleading, but I'd have to he is #3, Ratigan is #2, and the king of fraud, Jim Cramer is #1 with the other 2 having to really pick it up to come close.

  9. That is a distinction that is hard for me to make, because it seems to me when it comes to pompous asses, all three are major leaguers, in fact all three would make the MSM pompous ass All-Star Team. Of course, they have an inherent advantage being on a cable news network, they get more air time to strut their stuff. A guy like Brian Williams given as much air time as say Cramer has, would undoubtedly prove to be their equal, and frankly, he has mastered the smug body language and physical presentation of the pompous ass that the other three will never duplicate no matter how much Kudlow tries to dress the part.
