What's the effect on the USDCAD going to be when BoC cuts the rate today? A cut of 25 basis points is expected.

The CD future has fallen already.

The statement is what matters. One cut is priced in, as Kin alluded to. Another is not.

 

nominal fall, but I also think its priced in, depends on US data to a degree

 

no rate cut, inflation too high.
