The truth is we are going to wind up a service economy. Everything will be outsourced from multiple vendors in different free trade zones. This will leave us lazy and our children will be born with larger heads. The quality of American athletes is sure to decline. Eventually we might grow an extra finger for the keyboards of our computers.
Look at yesterday's durable goods report. The recent bookings by BA were not reflected in the October report. Watch out next month when durables are reported for November. And don't forget my previous employer GE for its aircraft engines. Since the Chinese are perfectly happy to recycle some of their $ hoardings into US planes that would be beneficial to the US economy.
