If you insist on an example of someone asking for information on ET without saying 'please', and an example of what could have been googled first, here's one: "I would like to know how frozen Fish, Chicken and Beef nutritional value compares to fresh. I like frozen fish because of the convenience over fresh fish." But wait, OMG, YOU are the OP!! Next time try adding, "If someone could please provide this information, it would be greatly appreciated."
You just proved my point by being too lazy to see the simple basic option and stock questions floated on her monthly that just take a simple minute or two to look up at the exchange or google. Why should I do something you are too lazy to check yourself. Thanks for proving my point.
My request was simple ...... "Could you post a link to an ET post that you feel should have been "googled" first?" IMO ........ ET is far superior to google for any trade related questions.
If one has to offer another one advice on how to have manners, whats the point. They are obviously are rude or you don't understand the nature of the person. If they are rude call em out on it. If the give a reasonable excuse as why they are not rude then you have a better understanding of the person. I hold the door open for people stop and fix cars, and lots of small random acts of kindness. When someone assumes i owe them the kindness i quickly figure out how prove i don't owe anyone anything. When i ask for help i do try to be polite and patient. Even though the rest of the world may not be. I know this people suck, some write there names on lunches that other people steal. They rob old ladies and beat them over the heads for pocket change. The try to figure out how to get in your pockets faster than they learn your name. You can't expect these same people to say please and thank you. Just be glad they don't stab you when you walk down the street.
