  1. You're almost as bad as he is. Are you on drugs or something? Oh I get it, it's a big sheet of LSD and you ate the other one.

  2. I have a unique pencil drawing signed by Albert Einstein that was appraised $75K and Surfy thinks the Madoff certificate is worth more. That's delusional.

Do a search and see what those certificates were auctioned for.

  4. Here is a thumbnail of it prior to restoring it from water damage.

Celebrity autographs go for 2 - 3 hundred or less. I wonder how the OP arrived at the 25-hundred figure.

No bids on ebay so far.

Sounds like it hasn't sold. Now it's offered for the quarter of the sum.

If it doesn't sell this time, we may arrive at the price reasonable people can start bidding.

Also for any item like this one needs a credible history of how this certificate was obtained... Stories like "I found a previously unknown painting by van Gogh in my granny's garret " rarely pass without explantion.

  6. Personally, I prefer this Einstein art work--I don't think Einstein sigs are worth much more than $250 or so....

NO WAY is that water loged sketch worth 75k, no way---its from an unknown artist and if the signature is legit thats its only auction value--- as you can see, einstein sigs don't command much of premium, add in the extensive moisture damage, and its worth about 75.00 or so

  7. Most stand alone signatures like the one you show are worthless because of the potential of forgery. They are a dime a dozen.

The pencil drawing was restored. The damage was fixed as stated earlier. The artist isn't unknown as well. The value of that piece comes from the photos accompanying the piece of Einstein sitting for the piece, the artists notoriety and a picture of Einstein and the artist signing it. I only have $500 invested in it, including the restoration. It is one of those instances that was a great garage sale type find.

I have the limited edition Einstein that Andy Warhol did that was a better modern art representation than the one you posted the picture of too. Go check the current price on that one Surfy.

I don't understand your fixation with Madoff. Then again maybe I do.

  8. Considering what a complete and total scumbag liar the OP is, I'd say the "concerns of forgery" are in complete order.

Sort of like your neverending supply of Tudor Jones tapes, huh d-bag?

Also, why don't you tell us why, after being banned literally 100 times, you continue to re-appear here.

  9. Ok, I wasn't aware of the peripheral accompaniments to the sketch. Maybe it's worth more than my initial estimate. I only buy originals, sometimes from unknowns and a few have worked out nicely. Others not so much. Buy art cause you like it, it's generally a poor investment. With that said, sounds like you got a great deal.
