    BoE minutes are due today at 0930 GMT, with consensus that the MPC voted 7-2 to leave rates on hold at the November meeting (5.75%)

    UK papers focusing on Paragon, one of Britain's biggest buy-to-let lenders, after it was revealed that the company could collapse if it fails to raise an extra GBP 280mln. Consequently trading was suspended yesterday after the stock fell by 50%. (Times)

    Industry experts have said the average price of a pint of beer could hit £4 after poor weather forces up the price of hops.
