The older ones yes,the younger ones no.The older ones turnout far more than the younger ones though. They'll stick with a moderate or progressive if they like you,and stay home if they don't.

  3. Ok, you are critical of Republicans. You are critical of Top Democrat, Joe Biden. All of which is reasonable and justified, in my opinion. You are not the only one is dissatisfied with the leading parties. Your avatar is a picture depicting the Green Party logo. You rarely, if at all, post anything of substance on Green Party candidates unless solicited. Well, I’m soliciting you now.

There is more than just Bernie and AOC. Right? Even though I’ve been hard on AOC, I do not think she is evil and actually respect some of her ideas. Besides, Trump won on a “Fuck you to the establishment vote”, why can’t a solid Green Party candidate? Especially if word gets out?

If you are willing to discuss Green Party candidates rather than being content with whining about everyone else, know in advance that some Green Party ideas may be challenged, even if I actually like and respect a particular Green Party member you mention. Tires should be kicked before a decision is made, as it were. Right?

Jill Stein and Ralph Nader had great progressive policies. The Green Party candidate has no chance to win though.I will just be voting and donating to them to have my vote against moderate democrats on record.I considered voting for Trump/De Satan etc,but after some thought I realized that sends the message the democrat loss because they were to far left. The more votes The Green Party gets sends the message the the democrat loss because they weren't left enough.Staying home also sends that message the democrat loss because but going out to vote for a candidate you know cant win just to protest moderate democrats sends a stronger message.

  7. Yeah, but they didn't run against Trump who's currently at -20:

If Democrats were running against a more generic Republican like a Marco Rubio they would be in much worse shape.

Trump will get around the same amount of votes he got last time.Biden wont come close to getting the numbers he got in 2020.

  9. Don't you think that Roe v. Wade being overturned was a massive gift to Democrats? We haven't seen a right of the people get taken away like that in a long time. Before that Republicans were doing much better in the polling for 2022. We'll see how much it carries over to 2024.

  10. I agree its best to vote for who you believe in, even if it seems there is no chance. A third party candidate winning, even say 10% of the vote gives more people confidence their vote is not being wasted in future elections. Most people vote who they feel is the least worst choice, nowadays. Imagine if there was someone they could identify with with? US media has lost credibility, elevating social media effectiveness. I believe those who post on social media can be a positive force for their party if they are they are consistently respectful and competent, as you are.

I perceive the field is fertile for new candidates, status quo changing ideas, and lesser known parties. After all, can anyone credibly say our system is working fine the as it is now? Government and corporate overreach adversely affect our lives almost daily, even if many do not fully perceive it. Our privacy and rights are often effectively lost when we sign an employment agreement, visit a website, use a commercial email provider, or even buying certain products. Many items sold nowadays involve some form of social engineering. Even, if not especially, on supermarket shelves. There are plenty of issues the Green Party can tackle that mainstream America would be interested in. Has not Ralph Nader established credibility as a long-time consumer advocate, for example?

Corporate media will seek to shut down any contenders for political power that have not been bought and paid for by major corporate interests. Some methods they use include expensive and time consuming frivolous lawsuits. Sound familiar? Something a small political party unfunded by most large political donators can ill afford.

We have discussed the above before, but lets actually do something about it. Religion, multi-level marketing, and successful political movements share some commonalities. These commonalities are a strong message that resonates with many people, repeated often, and successful recruiting of competent personnel. Nowadays, we must add strong attorneys and contingency plans to weather severe storms brought on by the media and opposing political parties who hold a lot of power.

How about a post or two each day of an issue that impacts most of us that is not addressed by Democrats or Republicans, but is addressed by a Green Party candidate? It’s a start, at least here on EliteTrader’s politics section.

    What say you?
