Rangel wants to reinstate the draft

  1. As much as I'd like to see some poor little rich boys crawling through some mud, I can't conclude that a draft would be a good thing for the military. What would be good for the military is if we actually supported the troops with something more than lip service. You know, better than average pay, better benefits for their families, any veteran being able to walk into any hospital and get the red carpet treatment...for free. Maybe we don't second guess their every move, every action being critiqued by people who haven't a f'n clue. You know, something tangible rather than some a-hole waving the fucking flag.

I read that veterans hospitals are now some of the best around.

Some guy overhauled them in the last decade.

  3. Another little known fact is that 3 to 4 million Asians were killed in this conflict most of them civilians. It speaks volumes about the state of mind of our society when people are freely volunteering to fight peasants and kill women, children and elderly in the process 10,000 miles away and think they are doing them a favor.
