What? He added and then scaled out, but only in hindsight. The huge caveat is that he only mentioned the scale-out after he stated he was "out" 190 pips from the initial entry. If that's not complete BS then Madoff is a Saint.

its seems like hes only posting 1 acct trades..I cant see how he could make money without straddling.

..acct 2 left to ride.. cant see any other way hes making money..

I concur. What he was doing did not replicate a straddle. He was adding and taking off while it was moving in the same direction. Not even Madoff would try to pass that off with a straight face.

 

Luke, what is the market on him posting an end of month statement?

 

You stated "long straddle" not "straddling" two accounts.
