Ok, I think I get it. Its not a regular journal but more of a "scorecard" thing. I'm still left with the question "what is the point?" but I suppose that a journal can be different things to different people. Clearly it isn't going to be a thread that imparts information or attempts to be reflective in order to improve performance. I'll go back to some of the other journals that I follow and let the OP carry on with keeping score. It might make sense to change the thread title to something a bit more representative of the content like "Monthly Loss Statement" or something similar.
I think I just figured out why RCG is only posting losing trades. With comments like this there must be some crossed wires in his head giving him conflicting views of the market and his trades.
This is the chart Ron is short. He happens to be long the Yen which is experiencing probably it's biggest technical breakdown in over a decade. And Ron is long. Nice algo.
sounds like the emg fan club they don't know how to make money they just want to make sure you know most small traders lose
Oldtime, these guys have been giving each other shit down in P&R for a long time. It goes back years. I'm trying to keep this trading related. The breakdown in the Yen this year is going to be monumental. Probably a generational move. Ron is long. It's not a criticism, it's a fact.
like the man said one time my paper account got way ahead of my real account ib offers you an option to reset but it takes a day or so so I just thought i would trade it down should be pretty simple, right? just cut profits short and add to losers After about three hours I was totally exhausted no matter what I did, no matter how stupid, I couldn't lose money to save my soul.
that's why I say, there's a big deal between quitting, and qutitting while you are ahead almost everyone of these trades will get you back close to even some start off really bad some start off really good, and if you take that quick profit, it will get you in the end good advice I suppose but when I get that quick unexpected profit I take it I can read all about it later
