This not true.....look in the guiness book of world record for your answer....Im not sure but if i recall correctly it is 130 mph and it was thrown underhand...peace

But, anyway, the thing I read said that there was a controversy about it because they had "recalibrated" the radar guns. But that makes sense cuzz I thought guys like Bob Feller, Sandy Koufax and even Ryan bumped over that pretty often...
