I have... As I always end up on the strangest path every time I log on, I always end up with 50 tabs of things I "have to read later". One day I couldn't foster the courage to sift through them all, and I installed Chrome instead. Like my previous browser, Opera, it is very light and fast. One of the most delightful functions is that it saves one's text input. So if I accidentally hit "back" on my mouse, I can just go forward and this text will still be here.. Hah, I just did it. Marvelous! I haven't used IE or FF in a long while, so I'm unsure if they have the same capability now...

I admire your courage! I succumbed to their evil a long time ago...

When I look around, I am saddened by the state of my living quarters; Alas, I am not strong enough to emerge victoriously out of combat, and therefore I find it safer to not fight at all...

Obsessions and compulsions suffocate one's mind, I'll give him that.

The first tape I ever bought was actually Kiss' "Smashes, Trashes & Hits". I used to crank it up on my kindergarten's tape deck and rock out, at least for the couple of minutes it took for them to shut it off.

And just for all the curious souls out there: Mötley Crue - Dr. Feelgood was the second.

After that I went through the whole catalogue of Guns N' Roses... I even saw them live while I was in the second grade. I had to skip school that day. It was horrible! :D

Guns N' Roses' "Estranged" and "Coma", in addition to The Doors - When The Music's Over, have always been my favorite rock songs.

The best intro is of course that of "Welcome to the Jungle", closely followed by the Rolling Stones' "Gimme Shelter". The Doors are easily the kings of intros, and I doubt any band can match them...

But perhaps some of you Randomers disagree?

  4. I went with my daughter to get some binders at office max, the friggin pos binders were $5.49 a piece. Just to be a prick, at the cash out I asked the nerd what's the gauarnatee of these pos binders that aren't worth 99 cents. Without batting an eye he pulls out a chart and offered me a 1 year service plan on the binders for $3.99 a year. I shop at office max about every 2-3 years. I may hold off a little longer on my next return trip.

  5. Yeah, but you live in Norway, as such, likely in an apartment, and as such, how the hell do people live in such a cold environment????
I have questions. I can ask my Canuck dad all I want, but, it's stone age shit now. "Well, you re-fire up the furnace, from sawmilled logs, at about 3-4 am, keeps things warm". Fuck that.
Do they even use wood anymore? I dont think so.

What happens if the central heating goes out? Heard about an elderly couple (Ontario) got caught in a blizzard, in their car, froze to death.
It's happened in apartments too. Ice storms.

Hmm, obviously, a lot of people deal with extreme cold-but how?
Maybe a topic for a different thread, but this is quite random.

Well, the answer is quite simple (as most things are):

You move to Florida, Texas, (southern) New Mexico, Arizona, California, or Nevada. There. Have fun!
