Small cap stocks have always been my bread and butter, and this rotation out of small caps into large caps has hurt me badly. How is everyone else doing out there?
Saturday night, staying home, heating up a can of soup, saving money. This year I finally cracked down on excess spending. When I went over my bank statements from last year I had over $4K I could not account for - it was the cash that I had taken out of ATMs and blown in bars and restaurants. My new year's resolution was to save $300 per month this year, and in the first three months it went OK, then last month I saved $1,300, and this month I'm on track to save $1,500. It's amazing how much money can be wasted when you don't pay attention. REITs seem to be moving up, especially hotel REITs. I don't know how interest rates would affect these kinds of stocks, so I'm not trading them.
Ueli Steck speed solo Eiger record. The guy makes one mistake, he's dead. And he's literally running... <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/rzjpQF0_55A?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
All right, Randomistas! It's beer-thirty. My trading account finished this week at the exact same level it was at the end of last week. I've gone three consecutive weeks without a loss. Not quite as good as three consecutive winning weeks, but I'll take it.
Retail stocks hitting new lows on higher than usual volume. I'm putting a few of them on my buy watch - it won't be very long until there is nobody left to sell.
thats because they are all long and there will be nobody left to buy. .............. on a random note. Why is it you never notice the sound of the garbage mans truck unless you have forgotten to take out the trash and its too late?
