Indeed. Even when both parties recognize it is just mindless chatter that neither of you care about, you still feel compelled to continue.

 

Has everybody randomly disappeared?

I think I fractured a minor bone in my foot while jogging a few days ago. I went for a run again yesterday and that made it infinitely worse.

 

Did you fracture it randomly or was it your intention to fracture it?

Maybe the dentist could help it...somehow.

Just thought maybe she could provide some kind of support. Hopefully not resistance.

Alas, I will not see the dentist for another week. She injected a disinfectant in my root canal and it has to "work" for a couple of weeks. Thankfully I have to pull a wisdom tooth as well, so we'll rendezvous again next week.

I have never been more excited about going to the dentist!
