I learned to embrace uncertainty a long time ago; that is how I learned to trade.
I guess I will have to learn the same with regard to social relations...

 

I actually used the term "social relations" when speaking of a message board. This is getting out of hand; I must soon retreat to my dark cave, popularly known as "real life".

 

Lornz...Don't do yourself like that. In your journey to become a rock star, you now must do the following:

Raise your left hand and repeat after me:

"I pledge to never grow up. I pledge to never grow old."

Now, you should immediately begin to feel better. Don't let this scare you. Just do it. Let yourself. And, don't worry, as a fellow ETer, I'm charging you nothing for this valuable advice.

Any of my other fellow ETers who are comtemplating condemning themselves to their so-called "real life", please feel free to take the pledge. After any of you do this, post it here after you do so and help the others understand what a difference it is beginning to make in your life.

 

I've never been able question to answer that question to my satisfaction.

I've had a team of investigators looking into the type of laminate used on the card, forensic research of the Nadine Gordimer the "librarian" who supposedly issued said card, and if the President actually knows how the Dewey Decimal System works.

You're right, I feel much better now.

I can see clearly that "real life" is for the weaklings who can't sustain a meaningful existence in the cyber-realm.

Congratulations, Lornz! You've have shown the courage to take a giant step forward in your journey. There are many others on this site who need to do the same, but they won't because they are inflexible and unconcerned about their growth. They are the disillusioned and scared.
