I read in the paper today, a music teacher was laid off, she applied at other school districts but they couldn't hire her because she was overqualified and union rules prevent her from accepting entry level wages, although she stated she would work for less. The "children" are deprived of an experienced overqualifed (if there is such a thing) educator. Hire the best for less. Not in our shop.Duh!
You can't record a song that sounds exactly like a hit record. But, you can make a soft drink that tastes exactly like Coke or Dr. Pepper. Why is that?
Ha! I have built a replica of the large hadron collider to try and break out of Mom and Dads basement.
Wash your mouth! No one has managed to successfully replicate the sweet elixir that is Coca Cola. You yanks ruin it with your high-fructose corn syrup, so I can understand where you're coming from. There's nothing like the crisp taste of the real stuff, though. I know of a few Americans that get theirs from Mexico. Thankfully they still use real sugar in my country. I assume Stevia might replace sugar in the medium future, and I am not sure how I feel about that.
There's a brand of soda called "Boyland" made with cane sugar.Taste very good (every flavor), very interesting after drinking corn syrup all these years.I think it's made in New Jersey so it may not be available everywhere.
