RAND PAUL. typical teaparty hypocrite.

  1. he is all for cutting government spending unless it effects him:

Rand Paul, tea party favorite and scourge of socialism, gets half his business from Medicare and opposes any cut in Medicare funding that might interrupt the flow of public money to his bank account:

But on Thursday evening, the ophthalmologist from Bowling Green said there was one thing he would not cut: Medicare physician payments.
In fact, Paul -- who says 50% of his patients are on Medicare -- wants to end cuts to physician payments under a program now in place called the sustained growth rate, or SGR. "Physicians should be allowed to make a comfortable living," he told a gathering of neighbors in the back yard of Chris and Linda Wakild, just behind the 10th hole of a golf course.

But this is certainly inconsistent with his stance on government-paid health care. Medicare is a single payer system that provides medical care for most of America's senior citizens. That's far more socialized a system than what was just passed as health care reform, yet Rand Paul not only benefits from it but opposes any cuts in the flow of tax dollars into his bank account. How convenient for him.

  2. I don't think any of them know what the word HYPOCRITE actually means.

They think it's some badge of honor to stick to their ass.

The good thing with movements driven by hate and stupidity is eventually the hate and stupidity consumes those involved. The nut-gagging movement will implode once independents figure out the movement is nothing more than a racially driven hate fest.

  3. Right Wingers are like bible thumpers. They only hear those parts that they like, even though those parts may contradict the other parts.

As an aside, it should therefore come as no surprise that most bible thumpers are Right Wingers. Perhaps not exactly on topic with your thread, but an interesting aside nonetheless since they both deal with intellectual bankruptcy.

Pretty funny coming from the party of freeloaders.

  5. i can respect someone who says lets cut spending across the board.
that is not what we see. where i live most tea party nutters are farmers or old farts on medicare. just try to cut farm welfare or medicare benifits and watch them scream. they always want to cut everybody else but not themselves.
in my state we have a senator called john thune. for the cameras he is always talking cut spending. in fact he has never seen a farm program he didnt want more money for. we have a farm disaster declaration every single year in this state and he is right there with his hand out.

  6. Ayn Rand Paul appears to be signalling to big oil that he's willing to carry water for them as he's calling Obama "un American" for putting a boot to BP's neck. Article

As I've said in another thread, he's just like daddy; advertise the gimmicky libertarian crap while carrying out the basic Republican standards.

No doubt he'll have huge earmarks added to bills just like daddy while at the same time condemn the practice.

Libertarians are nothing more than Republican corporate socialists.

  7. Okay, that's art. :D

  10. How are they any different from the Republican poor and middle class who think tax cuts for the rich will help them? Morons come in all sizes, shapes and colors.
