Are you really that ignorant? The U.N. has been against America for the last 30 years at least. No stupid Snoops BS is going to convince me otherwise. I prefer to deal in facts which you seem to be oblivious to. I doubt you have read anything but the left wing anti-gun propaganda.

And how did Obama increase poverty? Let me count some of the ways.

1.) Uses government advertising to promote foodstamps, welfare, unemployment benefits that makes people dependent upon government. Many become the so called "comfortably poor."

    2) Obama continues to force thousands of business killing regulations including hundreds of major regs on American business. CEO's at companies like Starbucks and others say the regulations would prohibit the starting of their business models in today's environment. No new business means no new jobs.

    3) Obama has raised taxes on the job creators and would like to raise them futher. Such talk and action cause existing business to second think expansion and hiring plans. The is evident by the dismal job numbers that come out every month. When the government praises a jobs report with fewer than 200k jobs created is a testament to the failure of it's policies. That means the economy is, for the most part, just treading water. No, jobs means more people in poverty.

    4) Obama's BIG accomplishment, Obamacare, is a train wreck for small to medium size businesses over 50 employees. The jobs being added are mostly part-time jobs to keep hours down to protect small companies from ObamaCare. This monstrosity is a major job killer and driver of poverty.

Those are just a handful of ways Obama has swelled the ranks of the poor. Of course, this is by design by foolish liberals like himself. A person in poverty is a person who will vote Democrap.

Read a few of the other posts above if you need more. Now, quit being such a stupid ass.

  4. Starbucks is planning to add 3,000 stores over the next five years, with at least half of them in the United States.

Will Obamacare lead to millions more part-time workers? Companies are still deciding.

We haven’t seen many employers move forward with such a change. A recent survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis found that 4 percent of companies it surveyed had moved to a larger, part-time workforce in response to the Affordable Care Act.

If part-time workers offer an easy way to dodge an expensive mandate, why haven’t more employers jumped on board? I asked Christopher Ryan, a vice president of strategic services at ADP, to help explain. He spends a lot of time talking to companies about this issue and says it mostly boils down to a trade-off between having a skilled workforce and reducing benefit costs.

{There's more but given the major reading comprehension problems with the natives on this site, it will be ignored. }.

And why give tax cuts for job creators???

    Tax Cuts for Job Creators

Here's the interesting part : A recent review by three distinguished academic economists also found no convincing evidence that real economic activity responds materially to tax-rate changes on top income earners, although such rate changes do affect their tax-avoidance behavior.

So, if we had Obama for President when Starbucks was starting out, they would not be in business now nor able to expand. Costing all those jobs.

The fact is, the numbers of poor and non-working or low-wage workers has exploded under Obama's polices. He IS, without a doubt, the worst president in my lifetime.

Meanwhile, back to the jobs report and the shift to part-time workers thanks to Obama policy and ObamaCare can be found by anyone who has a clue how to read the report.

US job growth in April beat economist expectations as nonfarm payrolls rose 165,000, and the jobless rate fell to a four-year low of 7.5%. But the report contained worrisome signs that President Obama’s health care reform law is hurting full-time, high-wage employment.

While the American economy added 293,000 jobs last month, according to the separate household survey, the number of persons employed part time for economic reasons — “involuntary part-time workers” as the Labor Department calls them – increased by almost as much, by 278,000 to 7.9 million. These folks were working part time because a) their hours had been cut back or b) they were unable to find a full-time job. At the same time, the U-6 unemployment rate — a broader measure of joblessness that includes discouraged workers and part-timers who want a full-time gig – rose from 13.8% to 13.9%.

What’s more, there was a 0.2 hour decline in the length of the average workweek. This led to 0.4 percentage point drop in the index of average weekly hours, “equaling the largest declines since the recovery began,” notes economist Dean Baker of Center for Economic and Policy Research.

Let’s see, more part timers and fewer hours worked. Economist Douglas Holtz-Eakin says what we’re all thinking: “This is not good news as it reflects the reliance on part-time work. … the decline in hours and rise of part-time work is troubling in light of anecdotal reports of the impact of the Affordable Care Act.”

LOL Iran to Chair U.N. Arms Control Forum.

Does anyone here think the U.N. is anything other than a joke?

Iran will preside over the United Nations arms control forum this month, despite the fact that it is under U.N. sanctions for illicit nuclear activities and routinely supplies arms to the terrorist organization Hezbollah in violation of international law.

The U.N.’s annual Conference on Disarmament, which Iran is slated to lead from May 27 to June 23, is the organization’s primary multilateral forum for negotiating arms control agreements.
