yeah too bad neither major party is the sleight bit interested in even halting the trend much less reversing it.
Next time Mr. Dreadlocks rcg decides on a journal, I DEMAND he send Hooter's gift cards when he loses!
McCain chides Rand on filibuster and complements Graham on table manners at dinner with Obama. LOL. Talk about 'old and busted.' The dynamic duo should really think about retirement. ----- Theyâre wrapping it up now. I just turned it on but Business Insider has a blurb on what I missed: âCalm down, Senator,â McCain said, in an admonition to Paul. âThe U.S. government cannot randomly target U.S. citizens.â McCain argued that Paulâs warning that the Obama administration could target U.S. citizens in âcafesâ on American soil, and his related âJane Fondaâ analogy, bring the debate into the ârealm of the ridiculous.â âIf Mr. Paul wants to be taken seriously he needs to do more than pull political stuntes than fire up impressionable libertarian kids,â he said. âI donât think what happened yesterday is helpful to the American people.â McCain just said a conversation shouldnât be talking about âdrones killing Jane Fonda and in cafes.â Graham said the chance of you being killed by a drone for engaging in harmless political activity âis zero.â He said, âI will do everything in my power to protect this president, who I disagree with a lot, and future presidents from having an ill-informed Congressâ take away his constitutional powers. McCain, descending into self-parody, then congratulated Graham for using his best manners during their dinner last night (I wish I were making that up). http://spectator.org/blog/2013/03/07/mccain-graham-take-to-the-floo
At this point in time... I refuse to believe any part of the story about McCain being a war hero, other than he was shot down. What a fricken idiot.. has he seen budget creep income tax creep socialist creep loss of constitutional rights creep. He was sworn in to protect the constitution. Not be a brainless fool.
Yea my respect for mcvain has been plummeting for years now. What Rand Paul did was great imo. He asked a simple question and got a bullshit answer, so he used whatever leverage he could and through sheer attrition, beat the answer out of the admin. He scored a whole bunch of points in my book, by looking out for OUR RIGHTS first and foremost. Without any evidence to the contrary, I consider him to be a rare elected official (or any govt official in general) that has our nation's best interests ahead of his own.
