Some serial killers are white, some are black, some are brown, etc. Some people who murder others and then kill themselves are Christian, some Muslim, some atheist, etc.

Correct. The crime is not his skin color, it is his actions that are criminal. The reason this was posted in ET was because he was a black man hitting a white woman, which diminishes the salient point...an assault occurred in which race is not known to be part of the equation. Chances are that this man has hit other women before, perhaps not in a public place, and probably not reported to authorities...
