Police busted Lionel McIntyre, 59, for assault yesterday after his bruised victim, Camille Davis, filed charges. McIntyre and Davis, who works as a production manager in the school's theater department, are both regulars at Toast, a popular university bar on Broadway and 125th Street, sources said. The professor, who is black, had been engaged in a fiery discussion about "white privilege" with Davis, who is white, and another male regular, who is also white, Friday night at 10:30 when fists started flying, patrons said. McIntyre, who is known as "Mac" at the bar, shoved Davis, and when the other patron and a bar employee tried to break it up, the prof slugged Davis in the face, witnesses said. "The punch was so loud, the kitchen workers in the back heard it over all the noise," bar back Richie Velez, 28, told The Post. "I was on my way over when he punched Camille and she fell on top of me." The other patron involved in the dispute said McIntyre then took a swing at him after he yelled, "You don't hit a woman!" "He knocked the glasses right off my face," said the man, who would only give his first name as "Shannon." "The punch came out of nowhere. Mac was talking to us about white privilege and what I was doing about it -- apparently I wasn't doing enough." McIntyre had squabbled with Davis several weeks earlier over issues involving race, witnesses said. As soon as the professor threw the punch Friday, server Rob Dalton and another employee tossed him out. "It was a real sucker punch," Dalton said. "Camille's a great lady, always nice to everybody, and doesn't deserve anything like this." Davis was spotted wearing sunglasses yesterday to conceal the black eye. Reached at her Columbia office, she declined to comment on the alleged attack. McIntyre was released without bail at his arraignment last night. "It was a very unfortunate event," he said afterwards. This'll be interesting for watching left wing talking points. One protected class hits another. Since race and gender are the main issues when liberals determine right and wrong and they are more or less even in this case, it should be interesting to see the commentary. For conservatives, it's easy as always. Man hits a women. Unless she was being very, very over-the-top obnoxious (and it sounds like she wasn't), he's in the wrong.

Interesting that the emphasis by the klannish so far is that a black punched a white, and not the important fact that a man punched a woman... It cannot be known that the black man is a racist, but it is known by the facts that the man abused a woman... Of course white men abuse white and black women, and black men abuse white and black women, and this is nothing new to our society...
Black on white crime doesn't exist in this country. The mainstream media won't allow it. That poor black man was just lashing out for years of injustice and pain for being paid 6 figures to teach at an Ivy league school. That white woman should have kept her face away from his fist. LITTLE ROCK, Ark. â One blow ruined her smile and others crushed the middle of her face, but the attack on television personality Anne Pressly didn't end until after her jaw was forced to the back of her head and cut off blood flow to her brain, a medical examiner said Tuesday. Prosecutors rested their capital murder case against Curtis Lavelle Vance, 29, after testimony from the state's deputy medical examiner, who spoke about Pressly's final moments of consciousness. Vance, of Marianna, has pleaded not guilty to murder, rape and burglary. If convicted, he could face the death penalty. Defense lawyers questioned crime scene technicians about where they did â and did not â find blood, and asked Police Chief Stuart Thomas whether officers explored multiple theories. He said they had. DNA specialists initially questioned by prosecutors were recalled to the stand to discuss genetic evidence gathered at the scene that didn't have a match. Click here for photos. Vance's legal team said it may call two additional witnesses Wednesday, then expects to rest. Pulaski County Circuit Judge Chris Piazza scheduled a court session Wednesday despite the rest of the courthouse being closed for Veterans Day, and jurors could begin deliberations by the end of the day. Dr. Stephen Erickson said an examination of Pressly's body after her death revealed that her face shattered "like an egg" during the attack. "I could feel crunchiness" while examining Pressly's face, he said. A photo he used showed her nose pushed to one side. Erickson said some type of object likely was used during the attack â the butt of a pistol or perhaps some type of club. Pressly, the co-host of a morning TV show who had a bit part in the President Bush biopic "W," was hit so hard that a tooth â root intact â flew to her bedroom floor. Another blow crushed bones in the middle of her face. Another shoved her jaw backward, leaving her brain starved for blood. Injuries like Pressly's require a "high degree" of force â and end with a high degree of mortality, Erickson said. Her mother, unable to reach Pressly by telephone, found her daughter shortly before she was due on KATV's "Daybreak" program. CT scans taken after the attack showed that her swollen brain gradually died. By Oct. 25, 2008, the day Pressly died, her brain was so swollen that no blood could enter. Erickson said it was possible that Pressly felt pain even after the attack â even if she couldn't have responded to anyone. The examiner also said Pressly's left forearm had an abrasion, consistent with being held tightly, and that her left hand was swollen, blue and broken in five places. Erickson said Pressly had injuries consistent with being raped. Defense lawyer Katherine Street, however, questioned whether they could have been caused by a medical examination. Erickson said it was possible, but said it appeared they were inflicted about the time of the attack. On a tape played for jurors Monday, Vance told a police detective that he beat Pressly with a piece of wood that he found in her backyard â but never explained why. "I lose control, she lose control," Vance said in the February interview. Police witnesses said DNA evidence linked Vance to Pressly's death and to a Marianna rape case in which he has pleaded not guilty. The defense has said police duped Vance into confessing and giving officers a DNA sample to compare with evidence in the case.
It's interesting to play Liberal Protected Class Calculus. If the perp were a white straight christian male who slugged a black muslim lesbo for saying something bad about God - the left will tell you that is a hate crime and the guilty party easily identified. But what if it were a black muslim man slugging a white straight christian woman for saying something bad about Moe or Allah? Oooo. That's an entirely different situation. Or better yet, what if the woman was a white muslim woman? Then the issue is about how cultural norms must be respected and no crime was committed. It really gets interesting when it's a white muslim gay man slugging a black christian straight woman. That's a tough call. I wonder what the liberals think of that one?
The Left has given all these black fu%^ers in the US an elevated legal and "moral" position where their racism is fine and whiteys is not.. ha ha, what a token payment for all their support of the Democrats, wow, some fake legal superiority... I'll respect Blacks when they get off the dole and get jobs in the private sector... oh wait, Jessie Jackemup has sued the private sector until they have to be crazy to hire a black, besides blacks with elevated legal status and a lot of racist hatred all bottled up scare the productive white workers, so forget that shit... I shopped in a black community for awhile, wow, threats in the parking lots from teenagers, fat old bags waddling along telling me to get out of their way or face consequences, gang signs.... I used to run into them on purpose when they were blocking the aisles because I couldn't stand the welfare sucking vermin with their superior attitude and racism... my daughter said I was the most likely person to get killed by a handgun that she knew. This shit is not going away ever, the Democrats can capitalize on it so that's end of discussion: the left is ruthless in acquisition of power and weak in the face of evil.
