Really- I find your statement fascinating, and quite hard to believe. But to be accurate, in my original statement I never said anyone has blamed Lincoln. I referred to the so called "Liberal movement" that has happened since the time of the Lincoln Administration. Has this not been the kitty which toughens the Republican's titty?
Perhaps you should remove the clamp from your nose and smell what has been laid down all over your lawn. http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index...ow-black-americans.240988/page-3#post-3504218 http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index...as-quest-to-undo-the-party-of-lincoln.233952/ Hell, why not just read AAA's comment at the beginning of this thread and then ask him, "Is Lincoln to blame for race-baiting, tyranny, and many other crimes against humanity even today?" See what he says.
Alright. AAA, are you blaming Lincoln for race-baiting, tyranny and many other crimes against humanity that are present today - and what other crimes would those be, if so? Or is it that Hoofhearted has misread your intent and is just doing some good old fashioned trolling and taking comments out of context - or interpreting your words into a narrative he wishes to discuss? Could you please clarify, AAA?
Don't mind Hoof. He's probably unaware that Lincoln stated categorically that starting a war with the south had absolutely nothing to do with freeing the slaves and absolutely everything with forcing the south to collect import taxes. Just like he wasn't aware that MLK didn't even use his real name.
Sorry, I just saw that you replied to the same comment in two different replies (no idea why, but whatever). Did you want me to ignore this one in response to your later one? Or shall I address the kitty/titty comment?
I don't believe it has, no. I don't believe Republicans have claimed themselves "victims" of the liberal movement. I'm sure there are some exceptions to that, but Republicans follow a philosophy that doesn't fit very well with "victim hood". Oh, sure, they'll complain about what they see as wrong, or things they believe should be changed, but you just don't normally see folks on the right referring to themselves as victims of something - to do so implies they are not empowered to fight back in some way.
